The annual arbor color show

It's autumn. Colors are pretty. I like pretty colors, especially in autumn. Enough said? :-)

Just a few shots from a very short jaunt in Garfield Park in Indianapolis to try to catch some 2013 colors in a recent late-afternoon shoot, one that ended way too soon because the setting sun unexpectedly dipped below some heavy cloud cover well before normal sunset time. But still ... at least I got out there for Autumn 2013. This, like last year, was not a classic year for photographing autumn colors; timing was of the essence!

All of these are high-dynamic range (HDR) renditions, taken while the camera was perched on a tripod using a Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L lens. These images were the first I processed through an updated version (7.2) of Photomatix.
